Cancellation Policy:
It is my preference to ensure customers receive the best service and provide flexibility for families of young children. It is also important that my time to prepare and plan for classes are reflected in this cancellation policy.
Please notify me if you are unable to attend by no later than 9 p.m. the night before the class to receive a class credit to be used any time before May 31st, 2022. Missing a class without timely notification by 9 p.m. the night before will be deemed a “no show”. “No shows” will not be credited for another class.
Weather Policy:
Outdoor classes operate under the philosophy that children benefit from play in all types of weather. Please dress yourself and your child accordingly and check weather and your email prior to heading out to class.
Classes are scheduled outdoors and will be adapted to the weather of the day. If thunderstorms, high wind advisories, extreme cold temperatures, or winter weather warnings indicate conditions are unsafe for outdoor class- the class facilitator will notify you that class is canceled via email at least 1.5 hours prior to instruction.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk related to COVID-19
This release agreement is between MI Early Parenting,LLC (hereinafter “Company”) and any person attending a class (hereinafter “Client”). Company has agreed to provide classes for Client in a public location where there will be a gathering of additional individuals (the “Event”). As valid consideration for the services to be performed by Company on, Client agrees they are assuming all risks involved and releases liability according to the terms set forth below:
Client is aware of risks associated with regard to in-person events in light of the novel COVID-19 virus, also known as coronavirus (hereinafter “Virus”). Client understands that in-person activities and events may be dangerous and lead to serious injury, hospitalization, or death of Client and/or Client’s guests, or other vendors. Client also understands that any individual attending the event may be asymptomatic and unaware of their status.
The Company will take reasonable efforts that fall within their normal duties to prevent the spread of the Virus. However, Client understands that best efforts to prevent the spread of the Virus and best efforts to abide by local, state, and federal guidelines and mandates may still be insufficient to limit the spread of the Virus.
Client is voluntarily participating in the Event with knowledge of the risks involved. Client releases, waives, and discharges Company of all liability from any and all claims for damages or liability, whether caused by any active or passive negligent act or omission of Company or of Company’s agents, employees, or contractors. This release and waiver extends to all claims of every kind or nature whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown.
Client will indemnify, and hold harmless, and defend Company from and against any and all liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses payable to third parties that pay result from any claims by third parties that they contracted COVID-19 at the event.
