Hello! I’m Miranda, I’m the creator of Early Intervention Mama and MI Early Parenting, LLC.
I am an educator, early interventionist, writer, parent coach, baby and toddler enthusiast, wife, and Mama to 2 children.
I have a Bachelors degree in Child Development and English from Central Michigan University- Fire Up Chips! Throughout my career I’ve professionally supported families and caregivers in natural environments (homes and childcare settings) through parent coaching and home visiting.
Most of my professional career has been spent supporting and coaching families in early intervention. Over the last 13 years I’ve served in Michigan’s Early On program in two separate areas providing special instruction, family training, service coordination, and playgroup facilitation alongside a multidisciplinary early intervention team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, early childhood special educators, speech language pathologists, and other specialists. I’ve also worked in Early Head Start home based and center based programming as and Early Childhood Specialist, served in childcare centers, and consistently facilitated playgroups for all kinds of parents and caregivers.
My passion and expertise is coaching parentings within routines to feel more connected, successful, and confident in parenthood. I also have experience helping other providers to do the same.
Last 2021, my daughter was diagnosed as a Type 1 Diabetic and I was compelled to find a way to both care for my family’s new needs as well as still serve parents, caregivers, and professionals in the field so dear to me. So here I am pivoting into small business and loving every (most!) minute of it.
